Tonight (Tuesday 29th Jan) the draw for the John Ford Quarter Finals took place. The handicapping team then went through the usual due diligence of setting the handicaps - now committed to sealed envelopes.

The draw is 

Welsh Row versus Canute

Weaverham versus South Cheshire

Goostrey versus Northwich

At the very last moment one of our teams had to pull out meaning that Crosses receive a bye into the semi final having seen off a Northwich team in the preliminaries. 

The teams mentioned first above are the 'home' teams even though everyone plays at Holmes Chapel on 6th February starting at 7.30 pm. The home team provides the shuttles for the match but away teams contribute half the cost or some shuttles in kind. All teams share the court costs equally.
