Simon may be known to some in Crewe and District - see below from CCBA

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Simon Dolman passed away on 7 July after suffering a heart attack while on holiday in Italy with his family.
 
Simon was a valued member of the Cheshire badminton community for many years, both as a player and a proud, supportive parent. His love for the sport, competitive spirit, and encouragement of others left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be greatly missed.
 
Our sincere condolences are with Julie, Ben and Adam at this very difficult time.
