Badminton England with Crewe and District League have established a level 1 coaching course in our area. The details are given below. It is important now that you respond as quickly as possible so that the organisers can fill the places
– preferably with players from our league. Any unfilled places will be offered to people outside the area who are on the waiting list. A number of you have expressed an interest dependent on dates, venue and costs. Please be aware that the total cost of £215
can be accommodated as follows:
Badminton England offer 50% bursaries as described in their mail below –s o up to £107.50
Crewe and District are willing to subsidise the cost by up to £50 per applicant
We would expect the applicant to pay approximately £50
There is a possibility of Cheshire badminton association offering something (to be confirmed)
Do be aware that the Badminton England bursary is conditional on you doing a small number of hours coaching to consolidate the learning (read the details in the link below), Crewe and District echo this sentiment and we want you to pledge
that those hours would be carried out in our league. There are plenty of opportunities at our junior clubs, and senior clubs may also benefit. We can provide these details if you need to know before applying (contact Hon Sec). We will only subsidise applicants
who are fully registered for Crewe and District and also fully paid up with Badminton England.

Dates: Sunday 20th January 2019 (Day 1)
Sunday 27th January 2019 (Day 2)
Sunday 10th February 2019 (Assessment Day)
Venue: Cheshire College South & West, Crewe Campus, Dane Bank Avenue, Crewe, CW2 8AB
Time: 9.30am – 4.30pm on all days
